LOCKN’ 2016 kicks off on Oak Ridge Farm this Thursday, August 25th, bringing attendees in Arrington, Virginia a stacked four days of music. The festival, which places emphasis on musical invention and environmental sustainability, has gained a notable amount of national attention as it returns once again for its fourth year.
Phish leads the lineup with a two-night, four-set slot on Friday and Sunday of this weekend. This will be Phish’s first time playing LOCKN’ and their only festival appearance of 2016. Also making their LOCKN’ debut is My Morning Jacket, in the Saturday night headlining slot. Other notable performers this year include Ween, Phil Lesh & Friends (playing two nights), Tedeschi Trucks Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Gary Clark Jr., Chris Robinson Brotherhood, and more.
