CATCH THIS TEMPLE OF THE DOG-INSPIRED VIRTUAL THEATRE SHOW

Our love for Temple of the Dog has collided with our passion for live performance, so we wanted to make sure this cool virtual theatre show is on your radar for tonight (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) night at 10pm ET. Playlist Seattle and Trial and Error Productions are presenting an online revival of Everyone Wants to Love Your Beating Heart, a full-length theatrical production (originally staged in 2016) inspired by Temple of the Dog’s eponymous album. It has also been added to the Galway Fringe Virtual lineup, so there will be another opportunity to enjoy it next Tuesday, September 22nd too.

Everyone Wants to Love Your Beating Heart

This unique show by director and Playlist Seattle founder Kelly McMahon and playwright Stacy D. Flood “explores the connection that is possible through music and to answer the questions: how can we find ways to relate to one another without occupying the same physical space? How can we do that through music? And through theater?” Admission is $10 with the opportunity to purchase a limited-edition poster, and all ticket proceeds will go to support two organizations that help musicians – MusiCares and Road Recovery. The cast includes Joe Glass, Christopher Martinez, Sarah Lockard, Garrett Dill, Liz Vital and Bjorn A. Whitney, working from their living rooms across the country. Make sure to RSVP here so you can catch the show tonight or tomorrow night at 10pm ET.
