On this episode of Whiskey Wednesdays we chat with music journalist, Mike Henneberger, about his mixtape memoir “Rock Bottom at the Renaissance: An Emo Kid’s Journey Through Falling In And Out Of Love In And With New York City.” This book takes place during some of his darkest days dealing with anxiety and depression all while incorporating lyrics from his favorite emo, pop punk, and indie rock bands. A mixture of flashbacks and stream of consciousness writing take you on a journey through Henneberger’s mind and truly give the reader a sense of what it’s like to deal with anxiety, depression and drug abuse.
